A lovely example of a quality George III oak dresser, circa 1810 – 1820, originating from the Talwrn area of North Wales. The dresser is constructed from oak with mahogany and ebony inlay. The rack has three grooved plate racks with a moulded protruding cornice above. The dresser base features a solid two-plank oak top with a central column of four working drawers flanked by a cupboard and a drawer each side. The doors are decorated with octagonal mouldings incorporating fan shape inlay. The dresser is decorated with inlaid dots and diamonds. The dresser stands on shaped bracket feet. This dresser is a wonderful rich golden brown oak colour with lovely patina.
